There are benefits to waiting, too. ☺️ like, I got a bachelors degree, got a good job, got all my youthful partying out of my way, got married, financially stable, and can be a stay at home mom...I'd have been a horrible mom in my teens or early 20s. So it goes both ways! 👍
My mom had me at 20 my brother at 28 miscarried 4 times had my sister at 38 and lost her last one 3 years ago. She always told me to have children early it makes it easier and it has. I had my son a month before I turned 20 & I will be almost 25 when my daughter is born. I am also thankful because if we wouldn't have had kids before 30 we wouldn't have been able to at all my husband turned 30 in April and at the end of April was diagnosed with cancer and we were told we aren't going to be able to have anymore after our daughter. So he will be in his 40s and I my 30s when our kids are grown but we are completely happy about our situation and wouldn't change it for the world.
I had my son at 19 and still did four years Navy, got a 5 year BS in 2.5 years cum laude, master's degree, got an amazing job, very financially stable as a single mom, never was interested in partying at all, and had all the energy in the world for my son! We tight! Inseparable! Now little sister is coming and he's 8 and I'm so glad I didn't wait to start making the babies because I'd be 30 with two tots and zero energy! @olson0305 kudos to you but the young kids can do it too!! 💁🏻
Eh I have my degree and a killer job, I'll be 24 when the baby gets here so I'll be a young-ish mom. Still the first out of most the people I know. lol I think there's perks to both sides but as long as you and your kids are happy, who cares? Lol found this post to be a little funny though. ;-)
@yogabump, dang that's great! I was way too selfish. @hladybug I was 26 and 27 with my first 2, and I felt youngish. I am glad that I have them to help this time!
