Been Docters and told it alopecia areata now I'm defo freaking it as only gonna get worse and all my hair gonna fall out nurse said it won't but it's not what says on the leaflet she gave me X HELP!!!

@katyc884781, don't worry! I had this from being 9 weeks pregnant. And it's now growing back nicely. It's just to do with the hormones in your body. I freaked out so much when I first saw mine. It does grow back!

Hmm.. my midwife just told me about this when she saw my hair which was long and thick after I conceived Melody. she said some women experienced bald patches and hair loss instead. It can go so bad that you notice a bald patch. But get it checked out if you're worried. I didn't know massive hair loss was a pregnancy thing either until my midwife told me a few days ago. xx

i had this when i was on the depo jag and it looked the exact same doctor and dermatologist told me it was alopecia xxxxxx

No I'm not under a lot of stress and my iron levels and that we're ok when had test X

are you under a lot of stress?? or maybe lacking iron or something? you should see a gp or your midwife. my sister had hair loss during pregnancy it's quite common! x
