My doctor told me to take excedrin in the case of a migraine because mine get so severe. I don't get them often thank goodness! But she said that she's okay with excedrin as long as it's not a frequent thing. Maybe talk to your doctor about getting to take excedrin in the case of a migraine?

whoops, sorry I meant to say acetaminophen. It doesn't have aspirin, definitely worth a shot.

I also found out at 3 weeks.. I love knowing my little one is going to have a higher chance of being healthy because of not taking what helps... but goodness, I am so sick because of these migraines... @boymomplusagirl and @klg0123 is excedrin okay to take since it has asprin? I drink lots of water and when it starts hurting I get a little caffeine.. but it's like when It starts, there is no help unless I throw up.. and today it took 5 times of throwing up to give the slightest relief...

try Excedrin tension headache, its aspirin with a little caffeine, my doc suggested it, and it might help take the edge off. And lots of water but I'm sure you knew that.

@eshore girl, I will be a day shy of 40 weeks when my daughter is born, and I found out at 3 weeks that I was pregnant, so I feel your pain. It is worth it having our babies healthy, but I hate that we have to go that long suffering from migraines. Good luck to you, just hang in the best you can.

I have been diagnosed with them since I was 8, and narcotics, nerve meds, and especially over the counter stuff never worked. I have tried so many different things, and the only thing that has helped me is Topamax, and even that isn't a cure. I still got them just not as often. I was supposed to see my neuro to change again when I found out I was pregnant and had to go completely off everything again. I am glad that my baby will be here next week, and I can get back on something. @eshore

literally the only thing that kind of helps is hydro... I was diagnosed with chronic migraines in elementary school.. always have had prescription meds for migraines and Tylenol has NEVER worked for me... not even with the codeine... I'm miserable... @boymomplusagirl

Very true. I am looking forward to being able to go back on my migraine meds after my daughter is born.
