@michelle2220, what do u mean hurts ? how they do it ? @taylorrleee1 Yesss I feel the same . my dr told me I could b induced when I just at the hospital but I'm scared for worst pain n feel like she's gunna come soon anyways
the contractions are unbearable bc they give you no break in between. they're one after another. I had a really difficult labor with my first and I was induced
I would wait, see if you go into labor on your own first. Being induced isn't the worst thing ever, but it's not something you want to do unless you have to. I've done it twice.
I've been induced 3 times, twice because my water broke but no labor. Trust me wait or do it only if you medically have to. It is unnecessarily painful and can be avoided.
i would wait im a ftm and i was induced the nurse said its harder when ur induced because ur body isnt slowly introduced and getting used to the contractions but rather quickly forced into them with no time to adjust
There's a few steps to it. If you're not already dilated, they'll give you something to soften and dilate your cervix. Then to get contractions going regularly, they'll give you Pitocin in your IV. Depending on your OB, they may break your water or let it happen on its own. Pitocin contractions are stronger than natural ones, and having it going after your water breaks makes the contractions very intense. Effective, but intense. That's why people say it can hurt. Waiting is so much better! because getting induced hurts so badly! What @mommagotbump16 says is so true! just wait && if baby doesn't come out around 40-41 weeks, youll get induced. Also if you get induced your body will not react to how it was before. it will take a couple weeks or even months to adjust. Not trying to scare you, but I'm a ftm too, && its scary, bit youll get through it I promise

Wait unless it's medically necessary to be induced. Baby will come when baby is ready.
