My sick boy:( throwing up all day and I mean a ton had to put a towel under him. My heart breaks knowing I can't do anything for him. His pediatrician doesn't seem to care at all because his temp isn't high enough. Glad I pay her all that money to not give a shit about my baby. At least look at him grrr I'm one pissed/sad momma.
@emaleejoy, i just went out and bought it but I'm not sure how much to give him. ?
Correct and yeah! It's for all ages, it's for instances like this! Food and milk will only upset his tummy more! My son had the stomach flu and influenza A in the same month and both times we were advised no milk, and not much food... Focus on hydration! Also, if things do start to die down with the sickness (no more puking or not a lot) foods you should try to feed him would then be bananas, rice, apples and/or toast! But try not to give him many solids until the puking passes. I know when I had the stomach flu I didn't eat solids for about 3 days because it just didn't sound good!
@emaleejoy, he's 6 months I only give him breastfeed him. So I shouldn't give him his morning bananas untill he's back to normal? Do they make them those for his age?
Give as much as needed, I do believe that you need to purchase a new thing of it after 48 hours if it's not gone! Also, no formula or milk while babies tummy is upset, it can make it worse (: just focus on water and pedialyte!
Any drugstore or stores like Walmart, target, cub foods, etc. it looks like juice! And it's typically by all the baby diapers and formula!
@emaleejoy, silly question but where can I get that at? I'm new at this haha
Pedialyte! Small, very small, bits at a time (like a tsp every 5-10 minutes) to keep him hydrated!
@babes101116, I have a different one but she is out Tuesday and Wednesday just my luck hah.
@bentleysmom1203, sorry I'm just seeing this! I hope you figured it out (: you can give as much as he can take! But for future my advice is to start small so he can keep it down! I hope you got it figured it (:
