I feel like since taking my Mirena out, my body is a stranger :( I took it out April 29th. I spotted for 3 days and then nothing until June 12 when I got my period. It lasted 3 days with the 4th day just spotting. According to my App, I should be in my fertile window. I've felt extra "wetness" between my legs which I assume is good for a fertile window. But I've also been crampy like I'm getting my period and my pelvic area is really tender if I push on it or put to much pressure on it. I'm just so confused. I feel like I'm going to start my period. But I had my period 16 days ago. I'm at a loss.
I used Ovia to get pregnant. I may have had a misscarrage before this pregnancy and thought I would never be able to conceive because I was in a 4 year relationship and for 3 years no protection no pulling out nothing. and I only got pregnant once by him. So I got into a new relationship (long story actually) and on our first try, in our first month charting my cycle because I have been previously charting my cycle for a long time so I entered my info into Ovia and it worked liked magic! bam!
The same night my fiancé took out my mirena (the doctors made an excuse not to, so my fiancé did it himself) we started trying and I also downloaded the app called Ovia and 6 months later I was pregnant.
i cramp when i ovulate. some people have pms like symptoms during their fertile time. its not unheard of. but i think they suggest waiting 6mos to a year after getting off any birth control before trying so your body can get back to normal. idk though, i might be wrong.
Yea. And then I even went back for a pap like 3 weeks ago and everything came back normal.
Thanks for the feedback and support ladies. My Dr said that we could start trying immediately but after reading things online about the potential for increased miscarriage if you get pregnant before having a period after removal, we weren't trying that first month. And honestly I would be okay with waiting the 3-6 months they say it takes. My issue is more just how uncomfortable I am. ☹️ before I had the Mirena, the only sign I had of ovulation was increased CM and a twinge when I ovulated. This ovulation cramping (assuming that's what it is) is for the birds. As if it's not bad enough us poor females have to cramp and bleed once a month. Let's throw in some more cramping mid cycle so they don't get too comfortable 😤😪. Oh well. Hopefully it's a good sign and my body is getting on a normal cycle.
