Why does my son now think he has to be sleeping on me or near me to fall asleep? Ugh this…

@ericam, I'm trying to figure out is it because he loves me so much or because he smells the breastmilk on me lol

My son was like that...now he is almost six and still thinks he needs to sleep with me. Luckily I decided not to cosleep with my second baby. I loved cosleeping but I feel like it causes them to be extremely attached.

I think they just see us as gallons of milk 😂 my child literally has to be rubbed up agInst me to sleep im worried it will be a problem in the future

@ciaramarie, 😂😂 hopefully once I get my own place my little guy will start sleeping in his own crib...he's extremely attached to me and even though I love cuddling with him it's tough leaving him to be watched by someone else

My son refused to sleep in his bed as a baby. I tried and tried and he would just scream I even tried letting him cry it out. He would fall asleep with me holding him and as soon as I set him down he would wake up and freak out but if I laid him next to me in bed he would be fine lol. I try to kind of bribe him now that he is older. Sounds mean but it sometimes works haha. My daughter I promised myself not to put her in bed with me. She had a rock n play next to my bed and she loved it! Only time she has slept with me is sometimes for naps or when she was really sick. But yea once we moved into our own house I switched her to her own room/crib and she does amazing in it! She sleeps better in there than she would if I laid her with me. Lol. I hope you have luck transitioning when you move. Your not creating a monster just a major cuddle buddy haha.
