I've noticed my baby will spit up after almost every feeding. He is breastfed. Sometimes it's just a little sometimes it's a lot. Is this normal?

join the group on facebook called Expressions! Lactation Services. they can help a lot! it's run by an IBCLC and there are LCS in the group that can give good reliable information. you don't have to stop breastfeeding, and thickening milk isn't safe to do.. especially for babies under 6 months. There is all kinds of info in the group. if you request to join the group send me your Facebook name and I will "vouch" for you so you get added quicker
Yeah my son spits up no matter what I do. Some days more than others. He's fed and happy so I've just accepted it.
He might have acid reflux, and can be prescribed Zantac or other meds to take care of the problem. Try keeping him upright for 30 minutes after he eats and make sure you burp him adequately and that may also help. You can also pump and thicken the feeds with your doctor's approval and say so, and that's usually done with rice cereal.
I read a diet change can help but I have no idea where to start on mine. I eat well balanced meals so it's not like I'm eating junk or alot of gassy foods either. I also drink alot of milk and eat dairy and I read some babies have an allergy to that as well. He couldn't tolerate regular formula he has to be on gentlease.
I cried about it. I was so upset. I made it 3 weeks. I even tried again the other day and immediatley he threw it all back up. Sorry, not trying to discourage you.

Mine did the exact same thing too. He would also get bad belly aches and gas. I tried formula and haven't had the problem anymore.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

So there are so many different things it could be.. you could have a crazy overactive letdown which let's baby eat a lot at one time without really realizing it, could be reflux or an allergy. but even if it's an allergy you won't necessarily have to switch to formula
