What's back labor?
I'm having sharp pain on my lower back specially when I sit in a weird position I like get stuck and can't move. I googled it and it just tells me it could be back labor. Does this just mean labor is near?

My back labor wasn't as bad as front. It just felt like someone was punching me in the lower part of my back. The front made me throw up with each contraction.
If your mucus plug is streaked with blood, that means labor is near. you should call L&D. @wscst4
@bentleysmomma, @kbrown91 I'd i lose reddish brownish mucus plug is that ok or concern ? Do y'all know
Its just contractions in your back, it hurts worse then having them in the front. Usually the pain doesn't go away but intensifies with a contraction. I had it with my daughter, it hurt worse than regular labor. You can feel your uterus tightening but the pain is mostly located to your back. @wscst4
Could be with how far along you are, I had it a couple weeks ago and went in and sure enough it was contractions. It hurt more when I sat down and I couldn't talk or breathe
mine felt like a knife twisting in my lower spine as my stomach tightened. I had to be on my hands and knees a lot during labor and used a heating pad
