What is baby's belly button supposed to look like when the umbilical cord stump falls off? I feel like Haiyden's doesn't look right and I want to give him a bath but I'm not sure if it's safe to yet or not

I put some alcohol on it last night & it's already starting to look better. I'm gonna try some neosporin too. Thanks girl! @shelsynikkol
we used alcohol and then put Neosporin on it because it was infected and like not even a week later it was perfectly fine.
Clean it really well. It will continue to ooze blood here and there until that last bit of the cord is dried up. My son's was like that a couple days ago.
Keep cleaning it with alcohol swabs to dry up that last bit of the cord (that's what the yellow goo is)
My sons looked like that. Use a qtip and peroxide to clean it out if you think it needs it. I think I did that a few time with Levi's. It was normal!
Well it fell off yesterday & on the inside there was like yellow goo looking stuff? And there was some crusty blood on the outside around it. It dried up I'm just scared to clean the inside of his belly button @mommagotbump16
