Rocky is six weeks and his belly button used to be an innie and now it's like this it feels like a lump is under it.

Umbilical hernia? You should get it checked out. Does he seem to be uncomfortable when you push it?

@bri28, no he's not uncomfortable and we went to the doc the other day when it was like this but he didn't say anything about it

Hmmmm..... I don't know then. My baby had it when the umbilical fell off. But it went back inside over the last couple of weeks.

That is what happened to my boy. dr. said it will get bigger before it gets smaller but it will go away.

I thought it was. I just personally never seen one that came afterwards. Hopefully it won't get bigger

I brought my babies belly button up to her pediatrician and she said she has a minor hernia. Her belly button is a full on outtie. Pediatrician said it should heal itself by the age of one, also if it gets red around it it's a problem. If by the age of 5 it doesn't heal baby would need surgery.

@ginabee93, yeah his doesn't hurt and it's not red so I'm just gonna see if it goes away on its own

Nothing wrong with waiting. Especially since the doctor didn't say anything about it.
