Here's her bio and general tips: Hello I am Ceiamaria I am a stay at home Mother to 4 children ages 12,8,7 and 11 months old. I am happily married for 12 years and we are still going strong. I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. How often should you take a child to the potty when potty training to get them to stop peeing in the diaper? She doesn't poop in her diaper and will yell and scream if I don't let her poop on a potty... now how do we get her to do this with pee?
So I'm going to start potty training my 16 month old tomorrow. Anyone have any techniques that would help her learn? She already knows how to take her pants off, her diaper off, and she already knows what&where; the potty is.
what is a good age to start potty training my daughter will be 2 in june and she keep on taking her diaper off i think i need to start now before the new baby comes in april
Anyone have a travel potty seat! The kind that folds and fits in a diaper bad? I have a few questions.. 😊

Try putting on the underwear and then the diaper, it'll help her feel when she is wet, and you won't have as many accidents

I had to just put my daughter in underwear and no matter how many accidents she had kept her in underwear and it took her only a couple of days for her to not have any accidents. Before this I couldn't even get her to wear underwear she wanted diapers but I told her they were all gone. But she will be 3 in September so I don't know if that makes a difference

My baby will be two in November. I am due august. no way in hell I'm having two on diapers! so I potty trained. I put her panties on all day and set her on a timer. it makes it easy with being pregnant cause we also gotta go constantly so I made it a mommy and baby potty training. it will get better. just keep her off the diaper because those don't help at all. also watch for late night drinks because you really want her to be able to not pee through the night. rewarding her is fun and exciting for them. just don't force potty training because not all kids are ready.

The trick we used with our son was not using pull ups except for bed time -just in case- because they're similar to underwear but you can pee in them like diapers. It just causes confusion IMO. That way when you switch from diapers to underwear it's an easier transition.
