I'm getting induced tomorrw night having mix emotions about breastfeeding or formula feeding ugh

I recommend trying bf for a couple days, the baby may latch easily.. but regardless what you choose a fed baby is more important than what.

I am trying . just didn't know if it would hurt baby to go to formula if it doesn't work .

formula won't hurt. breastfeeding is cheaper, better for baby, and you get to bond more, more convenient cause all you have to carry with you is your boob lol. but there is nothing wrong with choosing formula if breastfeeding doesn't work out for you, your baby will still be healthy either way.

of course. there are some women out there who will try to shame you for not breastfeeding, but it really just doesn't work for some women and that's ok! if you want to do it, give it a shot and join some support groups. and don't hesitate to contact the lactation dept at your hospital, that's what they're there for!

I breastfeed and formula feed..just easier on me and family for bonding with her..I tried just breastfeeding and I was miserable..this way I don't have to feel like a cow 24/7 and baby is fed regardless.

i did both... baby is now 6 weeks an donly taking bottle though because he was having problems with similac advance and my milk... he is on similic alimentum
