@madibug96, I'm not saying we shouldn't use the car seats or the mesh bumpers... but now that you mention it... having a child in a car seat till their 10 is a bit rediculous.

@madibug96, it is. it's so they have nothing to suffocate on in their crib. My daughter wasn't in a crib until she was 6 months old, off the breast, and sleeping through the night. But in her bassinet she had blankets and at least one stuffed toy.

Our parents also survived without the carseats we have now, does that mean we shouldn't use them? @brynden.nicholle.0716

I think it's just a safety precaution. my son has a fluffy blanket so he stays warm but that's it @brynden.nicholle.0716

@madibug96, I really don't think many people follow that. especially since most of us survived childhood with fluffy blankets and pillows in our cribs.
