If I'm dilated 4 cm at my doctors appt today is there a chance they'll send me to L&D? Or is that just my wishful thinking? Lol I'm 38 weeks 5 days.

I am 5 cm and they sent me home since I wasn't having contractions that were increasing in pain. Still sitting here almost a week later with no baby! But every doctor is different 😁
They might but once you get there if you arent contracting they will send you home. i walked around at 4cm for a few weeks before i went into active labor

I was 3 cm at my last appointment & I've been having a lot of contractions but nothing really consistent. I had my bloody show about 2 days ago. So I'm hoping for some good news! @nary 199613
yes they usually keep women that are 3cm so 4 is even better
