Just got home from ER. Phoenix was screaming again and nothing was calming him. He was clearly in pain. We also noticed some kind of rash right on his hair line and that his soft spot had sunk in which had me bawling my eyes out. They think he just has some virus and that he's a little dehydrated and that's why his soft spot sunk in. They couldn't tell me anything about the rash though. The provider even said he didn't know what it was. I hate going into emergency for anything these days because they always assume because we're first time parents that were overreacting. The front desks first question was "is this your first baby". Yes it's my first baby but I know when somethings not right with him. It's a mothers instinct. Just like I knew from the start I wouldn't make it to full term. If I was able to take him to a pediatrician I would have... I don't enjoy sitting there for hours on end wasting their time when they have real emergencies but they didn't need to make us feel stupid either. I agree maybe he has a virus but I feel like something more is going on. I can't wait until the 1st so I an take him to a pediatrician and actually get a thorough visit. It's not fair for my baby to be so miserable. 😲 I'm seriously feeling beyond overwhelmed lately and I don't know what to do about it. /endrant
