NEED SOME ADVICE: I am currently taking a generic prenatal that the pregnancy clinic have me when I first found out I was pregnant (pictured). well I guess because my senses are heightened but I smell nothing but the pills. I mean EVERYTHING smells like these pills: my shampoo, body spray, food, my pee lol so I was wanting to switch over to the prenatal gummies, but they don't have any iron in them. so my queation is have y'all taken them and the baby was fine? I mean I'm close to having her does it really matter?

I take prenatal gummies and it had iron in it even everything that my ob approves like first response gummies unfortunately I stop taking it when I hit the second trimester because it made me so sick later on so I went without my baby is completely healthy as long I ate foods that had the proper nutrients that my baby needed. I went to vitamin world one week before Mother's Day and tried their sample prenatal gummies that's easy on the stomach and honey I tell you that I felt so revived and refreshed an hour later and I didn't get sick at all. My hubby brought it for me as he saw the the good results and I got it approved by my ob again plus he was happy I was back on prenatal vitamins lol
my mom is my nurse and she told me the gummies were all sugar and too take the ones my doctor prescribed but you are far along so my opinion I would drink orange juice and eat fruit for the rest of your pregnancy or just take the pills you started with no harm in just ending with them

Prenatals are most important in the first trimester. I would still take them but switching to gummies would be fine. You can always add an iron supplement if you start showing signs of anemia.
