Yes I took supplements too to try and boost my supply!! E would get so constipated from switching back and forth from formula to breast milk, and I thought it was forsure the formula doing it. We were adding rice cereal to it because his reflux was so bad, we tried that before we tried medicine. I thought that those 2 things were making him constipated. Once I stopped breast feeding and he got switched to formula he was popping regularly again. His tummy was getting irritated from all the irregularities :/ @myjulyprincesseli

Same with my Babygirl I was breastfeeding exclusively the first 2 months and a half and when I saw her doctor she wasn't that much over her birth weight so they freaked out and I too had to pump .. Which didn't work out for us either .. And then I started taking all that stuff that moms take to boost up their supply and it actually dried me out .. I literally bought with my own money about 3 different pumps thinking it was the pump that wouldn't have a good suction and nope the whole time it was just me loosing my supply little by little and when I just switch over to a bottle I saw the difference in her .. She was much more satisfied and happy .. I knew I made a good choice (:

I breast fed E for about 1 1/2 months, he wasn't gaining enough weight. His old pediatrician wanted me to pump and feed him so we knew exactly how much he was eating. I wasn't producing enough, it was hard to switch to formula but it was the right choice for him. I too am a proud formula feeder :) @myjulyprincesseli

Yes ! Not to burst anyone's bubble but it's the truth .. Don't let it get to you .. Literally I have this face 🙄 every time I hear that saying.. Like yoooooo lol . Keep ya head up . Your baby is eating your baby is good that's all that matters. Who knows maybe your next baby your mentally prepared and you do it .. And you just might see it ain't as special it's just a good thing for you to achieve and your baby gets the food they need .. ( just like formula only in a boob) lol oh and another up side I heard it bonding but I do the same without boobie.. So keep your head up , and hopefully you can do it next time and see what the hype is really about .. Because the first few month I did.. And it wasn't any different then a bottle.. And it sucks because you really never know if your baby eats enough .. I'm a proud formula feeder(:

Breast isn't best. Feeding in general is best. The only people that usually use that saying are people who breastfeed.. It never hits a nerve with me.. But honestly I'm proud of myself when I'd get up every time a baby would have to eat , Get out of my bed , make a bottle , and feed watching her because it's not the same like a boob where you just pop it out and into their mouth and thats that. We struggle as much as they do .. Yeah only difference their nipples burned and mine didn't .. I had to get bottles washed regardless the hour .. And when they say it's because they get everything they need from mom? I currently have a mom friend who's breastfeeding non stop and her daughter has gotten much more sick in these last 11 months and my daughter hasn't gotten sick AT ALL. There really is no best.. BEST IS BABY GETTIN FED :) don't let that saying get to you. Mommas who say it usually just proud of themselves but us who cant know that in reality a fed baby is the best .

Agreed. Some of us just physically couldn't breast feed no matter how hard we tried. I'd be perfectly content with Phoenix on formula if it wasn't making him sick. Formula isn't the antichrist people 😂
