So had my c section on the 14th and my feet still swollen is this normal ? And , I haven't pooped yet is that normal ??!

@babizehm16, how long after being home did it take you to poop ?

I didn't poop before leaving the hospital. I did once I got home though.. I was urinating a lot so that was good one. my end

Oh I was on percocet & they worked great. I didn't need more after running out because I was painless by then so I don't know if they will give you more. Sorry I'm not much help @babyboy449

@kamilasmama, yeah I ran out and the iborofen they gave me isn't helping and im still in pain ...

They gave me a prescription and that was it @babyboy449

@kamilasmama, did u ask your doctor for more when u ran out of pain killers ?

Honestly I don't even know. I don't see why it would be bad though unless you're taking medication and shouldn't mix? Ugh I was nervous too! But no nothing will happen lol. It's a big relief after! & hm about a week and a half. I'm on week 2 today and I can move around easily, shower, basically do anything now with no pain. I healed pretty quick. The pain killers helped a lot

@kamilasmama, they gave me stool softners but should I take like ex lax or something or is that bad . And , I'm kinda nervous to poop afraid I'm going to hurt somethjng or guts will fall out also how long did it take for u to heal ?

Yeah I had a csection. It's probably normal then. Because when I wasn't pooping but passing gas they weren't consider and said "good mama!" Lol try the pooping pills that they sell at the store. They gave me a pill for me to go and then after that I went another 2-3 days without going until I got home. @babyboy449

@kamilasmama, did u have a c section ? And no my hospital let me go cuz I was passing gas and I think my insurance only covered a couple days .

I think you were supposed to poop before leaving the hospital at least that's how mine works but if not I think as long as you're passing gas is okay and could take a while to poop. I ended up pooping after 3-4 days after my surgery but because they gave me a pill. Try that? @babyboy449

totally normal I didn't deswell for 2 weeks. drink lots of water and elevate if you can. I also used Epsom salts in bath tub and soaked my feet

Totally normal I was swollen for two weeks! Lots of water and walk but don't over do it
