What's the youngest you'd take your child camping? I want to go for a weekend maybe. Somewhere close to the beach so it's not hot. I know my sons still really young but I personally don't see the harm since he'd be in his pack n play with a sheet over the top or in an infant carrier thing if we went hiking so please if there's something I'm not factoring in that could potentially harm him let me know! 😱

I would love that but I'm 100% sure my car would not make it there 😂 @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom

Late reaction to this post here, but come up to Tahoe and camp! It's not too hot and we have the lake!

My kid is 8 months and I wouldn't take her. Just because everyone will hate hearing a screaming baby at the campgrounds and also because of bug bites. Earliest I would do it would be a year old. But definitely never before 6 months. That's just me, though. Every baby and parent is different

I'm in California. It's pretty warm during the day but it can get cold at night. He sleeps with me though so I think he'll stay warm. Bug bites might be the problem though :/ @eskawho
