How do you feel about Single mothers who celebrate Fathers day? Why?

personally, I tell my mom both mothers and fathers day Happy ____ day because she was the only one there for me. My father doesn't exist. My mom had to play both roles and she still some how made sure I felt that soft side as well

I would tell her but I don't. although my SD isn't around she always was married to someone. she's been married 7 times. Only time I tell her is between Those years she's single..

My father wasn't around much so we always celebrated both with my mom nothing wrong with showing a little appreciation to a single mother on Father's Day

for 30 years in my household we've celebrated father's day with our mom. gifts, cards and a cake every year. it's better to celebrate then just throw ourselves a pity party for our father that wasn't around.

I'm a teacher and I tell kids that Father's Day and Mother's Day are celebrating the PEOPLE who love and care for you.
