Okay guys. how do you break it to your mother in law you don't want her in the room while delivering. it might not be fair that I'm going to have my hubby my mom and sister. but they are my family. my mil im not comfortable at all with it. (she acts like she knows it all) I dont want to be mean. but I said no before but she asked again!😣😣😣

@lovelymommylumps All relationships are different and some people aren't close with their mil and are very personal people like myself. I'm not even having my own mother in the room, just my SO and my babies godmother who is also my best friend.
Mine mentioned to my SO that she wanted to be there, which I understand, but I feel as though she should have come to me... it's ultimately the woman's decision. I told my own mother I didn't want her to be there.
I'm going through the same thing only its with my grandma. She has been to all my aunts pregnancies and now kind of expects to be at mine. Like she has some special rule to herself where she has to be there. But that's not going to happen! The only ones I want in there are my SO and possibly my mom. Haven't decided yet lol
I felt like this at first too, just wanted it to be me and my husband but at the end of that day I was very happy she was there to help! I had me and my husband in the room while I labored until I was 9cm and got my epidural and we let her come in! My husband ended up too dizzy to help and my Dr. didn't get to the delivery in time so my mil and the 2 nurses actually had to deliver the baby!
I think it's kind of mean to have your mom and sister in there and just bump her out. I could see if it was just you and your man. That's her grand baby just as much as your mom's

your only allowed three in the room anyway so just tell her you aren't allowed anymore and that you already told other people they could be
Say it again! Never understood why a MIL thinks it's ok...I mean, do you really want to see your DIL's lady parts? If all else fails, you can have your nurse be your bouncer. She can say only 3 are allowed in or something like that. I hate it when family makes demands like that. Sorry girl 😒
My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

crazy how all the black people were very vocal about wanting support during the devastating murdering of George Floyd but I have yet to see you all posting about Vanessa Gullien the Latina women that was murdered you guys want support but don’t give it to other communities lol typical no outrage no protest no post about her but you want all this support given to you make it make sense.
I understand that but I guess I had it mixed up because you said earlier your hubby, mom, and sister. I was pointing out how that would have been unfair to her but if it's just your husband and your bf I understand. My hubz will be the only one in the room with me. Not because I care about people seeing my lady bitz because it's natural thing but because I want to focus.
