My little one is a week and two days old. I just went back to the OB today because I'm still feeling a lot of pain. Turns out my perineum stitches opened up and there may be an infection :( he said they can't stitch it up again so we'll have to let it heal on its own. Has anyone gone through this before? How long did it take to heal? I can only afford to take 8 weeks maternity leave (unpaid) and now I'm worried I won't be feeling well enough when I go back.
