Is it normal to have pain where my stitches are a month later? I haven't had my 6 week check up yet. So annoying because…

I know right. wish I didn't cause I don't like being sensitive there.

@sirenita_x3, wait what! Pain still?! U might want to go to a diff doc to get checked ! What if I had even a tiny tear! I only got 3 stitches but that's the pain I feel , nothing that bad tho

I didn't tear but I still feel pain time to time especially if I'm out walking or lifting anything heavy and im 2 months PP today. I still havnt gone for my 6 week check up because I'm scared shitless of the pain!

yeah I mean vaginal tearing. that's what happened to me

I feel you girl it's been almost 3 months I tore badly pre clitoral to make it worse. thought I was better rode a bull 3 times this weekend whoa! I think I mighta tore again lol I just Wana be back to normal! weight nd all :(

@kelseys, yeah! She always tore a lot and my mom said she got 22 stitches with me! I think I got less because it was all natural delivery since epidural wasn't going inside me so I knew exactly when to push. I was thinking the doc will check with her fingers! I haven't even felt myself to see what it feels like now lol I wash it super carefully

I think the doctor just looked at my stitches but didn't touch anything.

wth?!!!! that's alot, omg poor lady! I honestly don't remember my six week check up, that was almost four yrs ago with my first son.

@kelseys, oh you're lucky u didn't get too many then ! My doc said she gave me 3 but same thing, it hurts time to time. I feel bad for girls that get a lot of stitches! My sis in law got 13-15 for both her births. Did Ur 6 week checkup hurt?

My stitches were just sitting there, I was healed but they hadn't dissolved all the way so I kind of just pulled them out myself. It didn't hurt or anything.

yikes, that sucks. I only had two stitches. but even then it hurt so bad after months of it being healed. I went back to school 3 months later and just standing in gym made it hurt do much.

Ok :/ this sucks . I thought it would heal by now. I just hope it's not torn! Cuz then the doc has to redo it! U know she even stitched my pee hole! She said that tore too! @kelseys

my doctor told me start massaging since my surgery wasn't to long ago and it will decrease some pain as time goes on.

honestly it took months for it to even feel normal again.

I have to do that sometimes. and sometimes i feel sensitive too. I'm like ahhh 😔
