my princess is already 9 1/2 months and still no teeth! and she's just now trying to crawl. I feel like she's so behind
Yeah your absolutely right @mrsrobinson . I know itll take time, I'm just so anxious lol
please try not to compare your child to others as each child develops differently. i use to do that and it took so much joy out of me watching her grow at her own pace. kind of takes the fun out of parenting, especially when family members make sly remarks and compare your child to others in the family.
my daughter never crawled and walked shortly after her 1st birthday. She didn't get her 1st tooth until 14mos.
I'm not so much worried about her delays because I feel like she's perfectly Ok, Just a little frustrated that all my friends babies are ahead of her.
my daughter was 9 months and got her first tooth...crawling didn't happen until 10 months because she army crawled and was fast at it...she started walking shortly after learning to crawl. she's almost 15 months now and runs everywhere and has 10 teeth. babies learn at their own pace...my daughter seemed to do everything at once lol
She doesn't like being on the floor lol. She's always in her walker. She takes off through the whole house in it lol. All my friends that have babies around her age or younger are crawling & have teeth wahhh 😭
Doctors make us feel like our kids should be doing things at this time and if not they are delayed. And make us feel bad as a mom. But reality every baby is so different & they all learn at their own pace. If she's trying, I wouldn't be worried.
my niece was the same way. She's over a year and only has two. The dentist said that's actually good and means she'll likely have less teeth problems in the future
My daughter is 9 months also (will turn 10 months the first) but she literally just started crawling yesterday! Before she would just kind of scoot everywhere, also she wouldn't roll over, she wouldn't pull her self up ect. Her dr asked if I'd like someone to come in to work with her and I said no. Every baby learns at their own pace my daughter starting doing all that stuff within the past two days! Well she pulls herself up to her knees not all the way up yet! Give her time. Just lay on the floor with her and work with her on it. But you can't force her to do it. And for the teeth, some babies don't get teeth right away, my daughter has 4 right now. But like my niece she didn't get any until after turning one. Every baby is different, yours will get the hang of things soon! 💜
That's how I was my cousin has a boy that is like 4 or 5 days older than my daughter and every time we get together he's doing so much more than my daughter and it always kinda hurt me but then I figured she will do it when she's ready.
