It's one of those days again ladies... my little one decides to hibernate for a couple of days again now. Before this she was kicking and flipping but for 3 days now I couldn't feel much of her kicks (only some, I think, near my hoohaa and back area). Other than the tightening feeling I had, I also experienced shooting pains and what I could feel as baby flipping or turning around inside (I had 3 times today and when I looked at my bump I could see something, not sure if it's head or bum popping out creating an uneven surface on the bump). Very worried right now, not sure what this is. Tomorrow I'll see a specialist midwife but she's not my screening midwife so not sure if she'll take me serious. Any one experienced this? Any advice?

She did that before and after that she became active again. That was a few weeks back. . now she's doing it again. That's why I don't want to phone in and trouble my midwife. my placenta is located where it should be so that'd not be the problem @winterbaby95 xx
I'm going in tomorrow as I have an appointment tomorrow anyway but I think I'll drop by earlier to see if I can catch my regular midwife. @suzie80 xx
My girl goes quiet for days at a time. Until 28 w u don't always feel all movement and she may be facing towards your back so u only feel squirming but mention tomorrow
@mioaurellia The moment she started being quiet you should've spoken to your midwife or spoken to the hospital. They may have wanted to check things over. Depending on the position sometimes you can only feel movements...I had an anterior placenta so movements for me were more common than kicks :) xx

that "hibernate" was supposed to be sarcasm hun. I know they don't. It's the way I express how quiet she has been the couple of days. It's late and the maternity unit is closed. I'm just wondering what this is...
If your baby had been quiet..please call the midwife. Babies dont hibernate. xx
Could be baby just moving about and pushing out. Everything stretching and growing. Mention it to your midwife but I wouldn't worry hun xx

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. Any reduced movements should be checked out really, if you're noticing it, then it should be mentioned sooner rather than later. After 5 episodes of reduced movements, I've gotten a bit paranoid to be honest, and it worries me when others don't get seen. Always best to be safe rather than sorry x
