Freaking done with needles!!!! A blown vein, 5 disgusting bruises, a swollen hand, and iv got two more draws before i go home today. To top it off my very nice lab tech doing my draws today only took her needle out 5 or 6 times because she couldn't find my vein before giving up and moving to my hands. 😑 done.

My veins are so deep so their hard to stick. They had to use an ultrasound to find a spot for my IV. Having blood draws don't usually bug me but since iv been here iv had SO MANY its ridiculous!! And all these techs think that when i tell them they wont find a good vein in my arm they feel the need to take the challenge anyways 😑 im literally covered in black and blue bruises up and down my arms and hands. im so pissed and ready to go home today. @kiaalford77

Needles really don't bother me at all. I did the whole "gallon grad" thing in high school where i donated a gallon of blood before graduating. But my veins are so deep now and its frustrating to explain to someone that they wont be able to reach your veins in these spots and yet they think they know your body better than you! And then they apologize for having to stick you so many times. And iv had an overwhelming amount of blood draws and tests while at the hospital for my surgery. I don't want to see another needle for a very long time after this! @jjmom12345678 @secondtimemommy88

Yea when u tell them that stuff they should respect that most techs laugh when I say that stuff but what they don't know is I'm serious lol when I was getting my shots for school a nurse stabbed the needle into my arm and it hurt I ripped that sucker out and held it up like I was going to stab her with it needless to say ever since I've been deathly afraid of needles

Ha, I know exactly how you feel! I always tell them that my veins are super deep and teeny tiny so just use the one on the inside of my arm or on my wrist. But do they listen?? Nope! They try other veins and leave me bruised :( I've had blown veins on both arms at one time and then they checked my blood pressure and it made my veins pop and OMG I wanted to cry! I couldn't even move my arms! I absolutely hate getting my blood drawn.
