My baby is almost 7 months old and still sleeps in his bassinet next to our bed. I love it. I said at 3 months he would move to a crib. At 3 months I couldn't imagine him being across the hall from me. I decided 6 months would be when we make the transition. For 3 weeks now I've been making excuses for why I want to wait just one more week. He is such an easy and adaptable baby that I know he will do fine and it will be no problem. But I love waking up and rolling over and seeing him. I can't imagine our room without his bassinet in it (even though he barely fits in it) I am definitely going to make theme switch asap because I know it will become more difficult as he gets older and has more awareness of choice. Not to mention he'll have to start bending his knees to sleep soon haha

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Anybody baby won't sleep in their bassinet? Is their a way we can make it More comfortable? I was thinking taking a fuzzy blanket and tucking it under the lil mat that's in there because every time I set him down he wakes up right away.. But if I put him in bouncer he will stay asleep or in our bed he stays asleep but I really wanna stop the bed and start bassinet. Any recommendations?

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

Instead of buying a bassinet could my baby sleep in a pack and play beside my bed or a rock and play,until I feel safe with him sleeping in his crib in another room? I see no need in buying a bassinet when he will only be able to sleep in it for a few months anyways. No rude comments! 😀

Okay mommas, this is our second night home and little Ryder refuses to sleep in his bassinet. I’ve tried swaddling, feeding him before bed so he isn’t hungry, tried 3 different pacifiers, laid him down awake and asleep. Any ideas??
