Am I the only crazy pregnant person that wants to make it to 40 weeks instead of 39?

I wanna have my baby at 37 so yes lol. But that's good you wanna wait!

no I wouldn't care if I go to 41 weeks. lol. I had my daughter at 28 weeks so my next pregnancy baby can stay as long as they need

@aniyahsmommy0403, I know that's right! I had my last one at 40+2 so as long as I make it to 40 I'll be happy and she can stay longer if she like

My cousin was like this up until 38 weeks, but my nephew was born on his due date. It was her first baby, all three of my kids only 36-37 weeks

i wish. i would love to experience the full 40 weeks of pregnancy. i feel like unless it's a medical emergency leave that baby alone. the week after they'll miss being pregnant anyways.

my daughter was born at 44 weeks, so I'm hoping with not going that far with my son...

Nah, I'm at 40+5 today. Went to 40+3 with my first. 😉

@kreese88, how much did all of your little ones weigh and did any of them have to stay at the hospital?

@aniyahsmommy0403, EXACTLY! Plus I don't know why but I know I'd beat myself up and feel like a failure if I don't make it to 40 weeks like I failed or something

I wish I could have. mine came at 36+4 and has big health issues.

just frustrates me seeing women's 37 and earlier trying to get baby out, girl you don't want them out that early! unless medically necessary of course, like mine

I wouldn't mind having my daughter at 39 weeks if she came on her own, but I am hoping she stays until her due date so I know 100% that she is fully developed. I don't want to get induced unless I absolutely have to as well.

@mypreemieprincess, EXACTLY Ithought that was only me who felt some type of way when I see that let the baby bake peacefully if you can't be patient while pregnant how will you cope with it when they're born...

7 lb 8 oz, 7 lbs 2 oz, 6 lbs 6 oz and no they didn't they all got to come home with me

I totally agree. it just seems so selfish to me to see women trying to force preterm labor.
