Last Monday my OB told me that I was dilated 2cm and 70% effaced. But just last night at Labor and Delivery two seper ate doctors told me that I wasn't dilated even a little bit. My OB wants to induce me this week at 39w. Is it possible he was telling me that to get me to agree with it??

Happened to me. A girl checked me then a guy and I was less cm than before. They're fingers were was different sizes lol
IMO it's way more likely the nurse was just wrong. doctors wouldn't lie about dilation, because it's irrelevant to labor til you're in active labor, so no reason to lie. you can always decline induution if it's not medically necessary and you don't want to. :) here they don't induce til 42 weeks unless medically necessary

You should ask for a membrane sweep if you dont wamt to be induced so you can go into labor on your own

I would asked to be rechecked. Saying you are dilated is a big deal (in my opinion) and if you are you do what you think is best. But the doctor needs to give you a clear answer. I've been told it can be difficult to tell. So if a nurse just did it at the hospital I'd definitely get rechecked by the doc

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
So my mom got mad and out of spite, dropped me from her insurance. This was supposed to be my last year on it, but had she told me she was going to drop me, I could have accepted my employer's insurance. She never said a word. My OB called and told me.
I am not dilated at all.😟 my Dr told me my cevix is miserable. anyone else this far with no dilation?
So my ob told me I'll be having Nst testing every week now... What shouldi expect??
