Has any one ever taken there babies to the ER or Urgent Care because he doesn't stop crying? my son has been crying since 5am. he falls asleep but then wakes up crying while we still holding him in our arms. if it could be because of colic or back up poop can they something to help him? I can't think of nothing else that is wrong with him . I just know he's so tired

when my daughter wouldnt stop screaming for hours (shed have like 10 min breaks then go again) we took her to er she had had uti just when you go in tell them how long hes been crying and it wont stop. let them know its not his normal behaviour.
i went in first cause her temp was 103 but when we got there the medicine worked and brought fever down the next day she was at it again and 104 fever non stop crying. i took her to er the same doc asked whats wrong i burst into tears. she knew something was up with my daughter. thats when we found out she had a iti and a refluxing urethra
sorry for lo ng story just wanted to share what my experience with hours long crying turned out to be.

You could take him to the ER, but there's not much that can be done if its colic. but never hurts to check to make sure its not something else. If it is colic, you're just gonna have to bare with him. @momi2b4

Colic is something that has to resolve itself. There's not a lot out there that helps, even tho it says it will. Talk to his pediatrician about changing the formula, it could be something to do with it. Try laying him on his tummy across your legs and rubbing his back. colic usually lasts about 3 weeks. @momi2b4 @lilbabyboy16
