Breastfeeding question
My baby is 12 days old and is only breast-fed. Today she has been screaming while she's eating I don't think I'm producing enough milk for her and she is hungry. Any one have any tips on how I can produce more milk? I'm currently drinking milk made tea. And just sent my husband to the store to buy stuff for lactation cookies. Any one have any tips? I am trying to not give her any formula.

Also, nurse on demand. The more baby sucks, the more milk you make... But it could be something completely different. If your getting enough wet diapers, your baby is getting enough milk... My baby about that age started crying while he was nursing and would unlatch and I thought it was my supply, but turns out he doesn't like it when my milk drops. My milk comes out faster than he prefers sometimes 🙄 and it upsets him. Lol. So it could be something random like that😂
I'm sure you've heard this many times but honestly the key is drinking water, I had almost completely dried up and then I started drinking 3 liters of water and the next day, I started producing so much milk that I was actually getting an over supply. And all I did differently was drink tons of water
Sometimes when babies cry it's letting your body know to make more milk. Also you can be eating or drinking something that's upsetting her stomach. Is she making enough wet diapers? The best you can do with helping produce more milk is drink TONS of water!
