its tough when religion gets involve around your son or daughter life. Since my son was born people ask me if im going to baptize or Christianity. our families are christians. he isn't a church goer. i asked him about christening our son. hes not so for it. i been going to church. i told him i would like to Christianity our son at the church that supported me a lot during my high risk pregnancy. now he doesn't like the idea that we should to take him to where his grandparents go. now hes upset. this is so frustrating.

That's such a tough situation to be in. I completely understand. Just remember to always think about your child's salvation and do what you feel is best for his soul.

really is tough choice to make. I baptized all my kids in the same church but this baby is my bf first child and he wants to baptize him at his family church. he doesn't go to church, I rarely do but I want to continue tradition. his family wants his church too.

I've been thinking about this too, at first I was against it and then I wasn't. Neither me or my SO are religious and our families aren't either. I feel like a hypocrite having our child baptised when we don't even plan on going to church...
