at how many weeks is it safe to retouch my roots with a high lift color? I'm currently 10 weeks.

I did my hair at 9 weeks no proven sign it hurts the baby!

they say it's best to weight til out of first trimester. and to do it in an open well ventilated area.

actually you have about 3weeks! 13/14th week is second trimester

I waited till after my first trimester and went and got it done. My doctor told me if I start to not feel good or the smell is too much then I had to tell her to stop but it wasn't as bad as I thought.

@katie.w16, I usually do it myself but I'm thinking about going to the salon this time cause it takes me longer and don't want to be exposed to the smell for too long

@momtobeagain, I have done it before myself too! My friend had suggested going to a salon because it can be more ventilated. I'm glad I went somewhere to get it done the smell didn't bother me as much like it normally does when I do it myself. It's more expensive but I think it's worth it personally.
