maybe i'm going crazy. we took baby boy for his 9 month well check on Wednesday,he weighted about 16 pounds at his six month well check,he is now 17 pounds 4.5 ounces. i don't know if i'm just freaking out for no reason but it seems like hes not gaining much but his doctor said it was fine. am i crazy?

He's just little. My now 6 year old only weighs 35 pounds. Milestones are much more important than weight

Weight gain slows. Did he gain in height? some babies are just little. Genetics play a big part as well.

@meagansimone, yes,he went from 27 inches to 29.

Jj was 18.7 at his 6 month appointment and at 9 months went down to 18.3 he had to go back to the doctors at 10 months to make sure he was gaining weight he was 19 pounds at 10 months

Then he's just fine. He'll likely be lean instead of chubby, if he isn't already.

It's totally fine. It's okay to worry. As long as he is gaining in height and/or weight and is meeting milestones. He's doing well.
