When do you start applying for working. Tax credit I used the benefits calculator and give our income we are entitled to working tax credit child tax credits and child benefit and perhaps sure start maternity grant our income must be low should we just apply for all of them when maybel is here XX I know we can't apply for child tax and child benefit x both of us work but I had to drop down to part time because of pregnancy and now only getting part time payment x

Definitely apply for working tax credit from now and when baby is born you can apply for child tax credit. It'll be a lot simpler as well as because child tax can take up to 3 months to sort out.

Think I will apply afterwards seems to make more sense as we have to apply for working tax credit only to change this when baby arrives. Or we could apply for working tax credit and then be entitled to the sure start maternity grant before baby is here.

You'll qualify for the sure start if you are on some sort of benefits...You can apply 11 weeks before your due date or up to 3 months after bubs is born :) xx
