Question. Has anyone done delayed cord cutting and delivered the placenta without doctors interference ?

I did cord cutting delay and I pushed out my placenta on my own. My doctor just removed it after I pushed it out.

do you think that helped with the short postpartum bleeding? @isabellesmomma212

Could have. This is my first baby so I'm not sure. I was told that if you breastfeed that your period can be delayed for months. I was not fortunate enough to get that bonus side effect, I had my period a week after my six week checkup.

So thankfully I got a short postpartum bleeding.
