@aliciafuentes, thanks.ive talked to my lactation counselor already.she was no help
Oh okay that's great to hear 👍🏼🙂 ask ur doctor if they could help u. @kdcmommy26 U will do fine
@aliciafuentes, well ive been breastfeeding for a over 8 months now..i really dont want to stop.i want to get back to a point where hes mainly on breastmilk and not formula.ive been trying everything to increase it and i dont see any difference.
@sarahdrew, i highly doubt ill get mastitis.i was working at a daycare 7hrs straight,no pumping.and in total from the pump before work to the pump after work would be very close to 12hrs.the boob he really doesnt latch on,it only pumps 10ml and when he latches on,hes only on for less than a minute when its normally 2 or 3.and when he comes off,hes whining because he didnt have enough.i squeeze my boob to help him out but i stop hearing him swallow.and the "good"one will pump 1oz. my milk dropped drastically back in april.i was exclusively breastfeeding until my milk dropped some.and then it did the drastic drop and he's on it heavy now.he hasnt latched on at all today and doesnt care to.
U should never give up breastfeeding just cause, it's not working out. Keep trying and trying u will be happy at the end ur still breastfeeding ... I had problems at the beginning, but I never gave up cause I knew it would get better later. And it did I am still breastfeeding I will be breastfeeding for 3months now. If u give up now ur gonna regret it later!!! Just keep trying u can do this believe in ur self. ❤️💪🏼🙂
try sitting him in his swing or a bouncy seat where he can stil, see you so that you can pump, you need to either nurse or pump or you can get mastitis.... I had a time when my daughter would only latch on one side and I just had to pump the other.... she finally latched..... does he get any formula? or have you been exclusively breastfeeding? if he will, try giving milk in a bottle or a sippy cup
