ok need advice for one of my best friends. she is 14 weeks pregnant and is getting really bad migraines to the point where she cant even keep down the fluids or tylenol shes taking. she cant keep down any food or fluids aside from very small amounts of water. any advice? tia
I know of one girl who had and still has pretty bad headaches and she's around 14/15 weeks. Her doctor told her rest, Tylenol and caffeine. She also got adjusted at the chiropractor and she said all of it helped. It sucks that she can't keep anything down though:/ @ameiliaashlyn2016
oh i know!! i feel bad for her shes had a migraine for a week. i never had them that bad and they never made me sick. @kimberkatherine
Hope she feels better!! I know migraines and headaches are awful, especially pregnant! @ameiliaashlyn2016
ive given het all of you guys advice she says thank you!! she is going to try it all. anything to make her feel better!! @kimberkatherine
Chiropractor for sure. They can adjust her neck, which is often the cause of migraines/headaches.
Hmm, maybe try freezing coffee in ice cube trays and sucking on the ice. That might be easier on her tummy to keep down.
she said the caffeine was helping a little bit but she cant keep down the fluids at all @kimberkatherine just small sips of water here and there
she just got a new med for the migraines but she cant keep it down. @littlelamby
She needs to tell her doc, that could be a sign of preeclampsia... Or maybe not. My OB prescribed me Fioricet for my migraines.
yea i told her to try sprite since thats what they tell you to drink when your sick and it would be a little stronger than water but she threw it up. but she said she is most definitely looking into that!! @kimberkatherine
