how long did you mamas wait before having sex again after having the baby? what the dr recommended or no? hurt or…

after every pregnancy it is diff. with my first even after almost 3 months of no sex. and just healing... there was discomfort but also my sense of feeling down there was kind of gone... woth my other 2 it wasnt so bad but also i went by my body. once i saw no more bleeding and if i felt still pain because i do get cut every time down there. .. just listen to ur body.

we waited around 6-7 weeks but we didn't finish.. once I got cleared then it was on lol

I waited till i was 4 months pp lol it hurt but it felt better with lube. Last time we did it we tried the cow girl position and didnt hurt at all lol btw they cut me when i was in labor

The reason I waited 2 months is because at my 6 week check up, my doc checked me, and I screamed, it felt like I was tearing all over again. He told me the stitched were healed, but it still hurt. I continued to wait, and at 2 months I gave in because my husband was dying apparently haha, it hurt though, and not until late 4 months or 5 did I feel back to normal

I waited 4 weeks... I had a 2 degree tear. But stitches fell off by 2nd week and I stopped bleeding 5 days PP. I am barely enjoying sex again at 4 months PP even tho at first it still hurts.

Yeah without lube it hurts cause my body wasn't ready but I was so mad I really wanted to 🙈 so we tried and it hurt so we used oil and it felt a lot better and you know we did our thing lol 🙉🐵🙊

@alexislopez, my 6 week check up is this week and I'm currently on my period first one after the baby too so I hope I don't bleed after sex. even tho it's probably inevitable 😩

I waited 4 weeks🙋🏻 it hurt a lot going in and after it was in and lubicated started feeling better and better. So I recommend using lube or oil but it wasn't too bad.

I waited 6 weeks and it didn't hurt for me! But I bleed for a couple days after, that's the only sucky part..

I was fine. I stopped bleeding and everything. I didn't have any pain down there at all. It was like I didn't even have a baby

I would especially because of that, wait until your ob checks and gives you the ok. I would not want to mess with those stitches🙁 @mamaash

I waited 3 and a half weeks after she was born and I tore from birth. But the sex wasn't bad at all

we waited until my pp check up which was only 4 weeks after having him. just when the appt was scheduled but once she gave me the okay i was all for it

I waited 2 1/2 weeks... I had a c section and was super scared, but we just went slow and it didn't hurt at all! I recommend waiting though lol
