My daughter is 5 days old and her cord is bleeding. It also has this horrible smell but when she went to the doctor yesterday she said the bleeding was fine but I didn't have a smell yesterday. Should be concerned? How can I get it to dry out so it can heal? She told me to use alcohol swabs or a qtip with alcohol to clean it but I'm scared with her being so young because Ik it will burn.
