Alright ladies. I can really use your help/advice. Just passed the 6 month mark of trying. My OB wanted me to come in and be seen. Went in yesterday. Made a recommendation of a hysterosalpingogram (HSG). Husband kind of freaked out because the insurance may not pay for it and my OB is wanting me to get it done pretty bad. The insurance company may cover it since I have been having issues with my periods. My first question is did anyone's insurance company actually cover it? Also, something else my OB mentioned was afterwards it can increase your fertility after its done. Did that happen to anyone? And my third question is whoever did get it done and their insurance didn't cover it how much did you pay? Any advice helps. Thanks!!!
Oh muh lawd. That scares the shit out of me. My husband will NEVER go for that.
I was super scared to get it done. And I watched a ton of videos on what exactly what was gonna happen. And I advice you not to do that. And don't stress. It was super easy process
My insurance like I said only paid half so I had to pay $2000 out of pocket. But I'm so glad I got it done. Because if I didn't get it done I wouldn't be 30 weeks pregnant now!! @mrs.jackson09
Well congrats on the pregnancy. Prayers that the next 10 weeks goes smooth. How much was only half of it. I have been way more stressed out than I need to be about this whole thing.
I had an HSG after having 4 miscarriages. My insurance only cover half. And it does increase your chances of getting pregnant. It cleans out all your girl parts. Im now 30 weeks pregnant after having that done. And everything was normal. So Me and ob still have no idea why I had 4 miscarriages! He wanted me to get it done because he thought maybe my uterus was misshaped but it wasn't. The results all came back normal
What is it
