Today I saw a 2 year old walking around with a pacifier in his mouth. Is that normal?

Yes. To some toddlers it's a form of comfort. My 3 yr old occasionally sneaks one of his brothers right before falling asleep.

Yea, something didn't feel quite right for me when I saw that. I mean he wasn't going to bed, he was at the day care of the gym.. Wide awake and playing..

I can't stand seeing that but I'm not the kids parent some people let their kids have them til they are 4

I'm so glad my daughter never took to one , I hope my son is the same ... I actually saw a 4 year old at church sucking out of a bottle and my 1 year old had a cup it made me so mad like 4 years old come on

my daughter has a Binky but she doesn't actually suck on it, she just holds it like a blanky. She's a month old and my fiance mom gave her one in the hospital and I straight up punched that bitch in the face (a lot more to the story but her giving my daughter a Binky set it off because I told the nursery NO BINKY!) but yes she holds it with her wrist by her face for comfort. thank goodness its only her holding it and not actually using it.! ugh! sorry for the rant

I couldn't get my son to get rid of it til this year he is 4. He only got his at nap and bed time though after 2 with his A.D.D. he wouldn't settle down ever. Finally broke him of it due to telling him that the baby was the only one who could have one and that he had to be the big brother now. He didn't fight after he lost the last one that was it. He asked for about 3 weeks for it at bed time then was all better.
