No matter what birth control a woman chooses, there have been thousands to try it. Of those thousands, there will be hundreds of women who had horrible experience. Unfortunately when choosing a medication etc, we are just taking a chance on how our body will react to it. Women should know the ins and outs about what is to be expected from any procedure so that she is empowered to stop it if it isn't going right. I had nexplanon and i will get it again. I found it to be an exceptional method of birth control and i did not have any complications. Many women have had iuds get embedded in their uterus and need surgery to remove it, but ppl still get it.
I had nexplanon and had zero complications. I had it removed and there's not even a tiny scar. I was wide awake having it removed and it only took about 15-20 minutes to take out and have a tiny stitch put in. Imo this is one of the less risky birth control options out there.
I had the nexplanon with no complications. I as well for it removed because we were ready to try. when I got it removed it took 10 minutes I was completely awake. I plan on getting it again after baby is here. like pregnancy is different with everyone, so is medications, birthcontrols, etc.

that tiny dot is where mine was inserted and removed. I only removed it because inwas ready to get pregnant.
