Sorry I haven't been on ladies it's been a bit off an emotional roller coaster !! . I had my precious baby boy 'Jaxon Charles Shon Macphee' on the 18/05/2016 at 7:30pm he weighed 8lbs11oz & 54cm long , we got home at 2pm on the 19th & by 6pm we were back up at a&e our little boy stopped breathing twice & we had to sit back and watch while the doctors rushed around him and resuscitated him (worst thing I have ever had to witness in my life!) we then got put into the HDU in raigmore hospital while they racked their brains to find out what had happened to cause this to happen . Turns out he took a seizure because his blood sugar levels dropped and this is why he stopped breathing , we then got taken to Aberdeen hospital for more tests to be done .. Turns out our baby has a very very rare condition called 'septo optic dysplasia ' ! He will now be on medication for the rest of his life , and he may also be blind (worst case !) he could just have minor vision problems , but we won't find out until he's about 8 weeks old , he is just absolutely amazing in every way possible , couldn't imagine ever being without him now , the nurses are all very fond of him , and considering everything he's been put through lately he is a brilliant baby and very content ! Hopefully we get home tomorrow 😄💙
awww hun! He is beautiful! I did wonder where you had gone, it is a scary experience to go through when your baby stops breathing so I can sympathise. I hope he will be ok, the little fighter! Congratulations 😃 xxx
