If a friend you were close with (for several years) , is being unfaithful to their spouse... Would you tell their spouse , who then has a real chance at being with someone who is faithful or not, knowing you would lose that friend for good.

I was close with my best friend and her spouse was like my brother , my bf at the time best friend . long story short I ended up telling her everything that was going on and what he was doing behind her back basically living another life

As someone who was being cheated on and people knew, I'd say tell whoever is being cheated on. I was probably more pissed off at the people who knew than the person who cheated on me.

my husband has a friend who does stupid shit all the time and lies to his wife. he tells me and I always tell him to tell the wife because she deserves to know and he does. that's not a friend I would want anyway honestly
