Think my baby has eczema ? What does it look like and what can I use to treat it? Natural remedies please.
@aa7iyah, thank you I tried that she broke out! I have tried Vaseline and it seemed to work 😀
We used to use the aveeno eczema lotion but our doctor told us it's a waste of money, because it has a high water content! It works but in cases like my sons it stopped helping once his allergies got bad. My sons was like acne too at first so they gave me a steroid cream that helps over night. He then started getting the eczema.
good luck! fyi lotions and the creams the Dr gave me was a waste! for us anyway
@chelseea, thank you! It was first just baby acne but think it turned into baby acne
my daughter has eczema and I use the eczema Aveeno cream and it helps her
It's dry and patchy or may have little dry bumps. I use vergin olive oil for myself and daughter. it helps with the itch and it moisturizes. vegetable oil does the same. also in small spots I use Vaseline sometimes also.
I've recently been told to use Vaseline. It doesn't have a high water content, so it won't dry out their skin more. It looks like red, irritated skin, sometimes scaly, rough. My son has it bad currently because he has allergies, and it's flaring up. We've just recently switched to Vaseline and it's been doing the job! Also, use dove soap for baths. Nothing fancy! Hope that helps :)
I tired Vaseline as well. You'd be surprised Aquaphor is just like Vaseline but it works 100x better. I use that as well! What laundry detergent do you use?
