I got lucky and his family actually isn't horrible. But I got even more lucky because he told me that if it came down to it and his family was causing problems that he would cut them off completely because I'm more important at this point 😭 he's a sweetie. Luckily he doesn't have to choose.

Any time I have an issue with my in laws my husband talks to them about how I'm feeling I could do it myself however I know I'm a really blunt and direct person and the way I come across could be considered rude so to avoid further conflict he speaks up for me.

@savanahr777, that's how we usually do it, but my mil is very hardheaded and doesn't care about anyone's feelings but its a big deal when her feelings are hurt. my husband usually tells her but it just turns into an argument and I literally argue with her every few months because I'm very honest and she yells right away.

They r probably better den my family. His family are a bit odd and I don't really get along with his brother because he's kinda stuck up and thinks he's hot shit and he isn't but my family is awful! My aunts and cousins are judgmental and horrible! I try to avoid family gathering

Is there anyway that you could talk to her and say that your not looking for an argument however the way she is treating you is stressing you out and it's not good for you or the baby so until she backs off you will not put yourself in situations where you have to be around her that may be enough of a wake up call for her to realize she needs to back off

I'm not stuck with them I only put up with the ones I choose too. Most I love, they great but I'm not going to deal with no one I don't want to period. My man just had to understand that.
