Anyone had their babies at 34/35 weeks. How was the baby? Did they need neonatal? My consultant wants to get baby out of…

agree with @suzie80. even some full term babies need help sometimes your baby could be strong and be ok

my friend had a baby girl at 34weeks no extra help needed home within 72 hours my nephew was born at 32 weeks and was in nicu for 7 weeks so every baby is different xx

There's no telling how baby will be. Friends baby was born at 33 weeks spent numerous weeks in nicu. I was induced at 37 due to complications and mine spent 2 weeks in scbu

@pipconroy_, my waters broke at 25 weeks, so it's called pprom premature preterm rupture of membranes xx

My god brother was born at 27 weeks :) I think he was in hospital for a month maybe? but he did really well :) He is now a healthy 14 year old xxx I know its scary when a baby is born early or has to be born early...but the care...medicine etc these days is amazing. He will be in the best place :) I hope this has reassured you hun xx

My oh was born at 32 although it was 24 years ago when technology and medicine isn't what it is now he came out fine it was only his lungs that was the issues but he came out 4.5lbs and has never had any health issues since he came out at 6 weeks he's never been ill or had to go doctors I think the worst he's ever had is a cold babies are so resilient it's amazing! The care and medicine they have in this day and age will blow your mind my god daughter came out at 36 weeks after measuring only at 24 weeks and had a hole in her windpipe I hope all goes well for you and baby xx

My god son was born at 32 weeks and he was out of hospital within 3 weeks. For the first week was incubated and then strong enough to come out of it, had feeding tube till discharged. Hope all goes well @pipconroy_

I'm having mine at 34 weeks :( but no previous experience but I've been assuming nicu x

It's just scary I don't want him to be poorly! Yeah of course, I went into preterm labour at 28 weeks which they were able to stop with a lot of injections and medications. It's stopped working as well now and I have contractions most day and heavy bleeding but it isn't opening my cervix due to the injections I had, so it's stressing baby out, both of our heart rates are too fast. So I have the consultant again Tuesday and she'll decide whether she does it never week or the week after x
