Who else has been induced? My doctor is sending us to the hospital Sunday night an ill be induced Monday. I'm kinda nervous about being induced and I plan to go natural without any pain meds.
@amorette, @alexzandriar thank you guys. I am HORRIBLE with pain like cry over a paper cut 😂 but I know to many people who had horrible problems because of epidurals and my mom had 5 kids an we were all no Epi expect my sister since she was a c-section. So if it came to that then I of corse will have one. But my heart is pretty set on no Epi so hopefully all goes as plan.
I got induced almost 2 weeks ago. I was already dilated so I thought it was gonna go fast but I was in labor for over 40 hours. But I actually didn't feel any pain from the contractions! Super strange. I pushed for a super long time too and ended up having a c section, but my baby was pretty big so don't feel like that's something that will for sure happen to you. I hope you are able to go natural like you want! I was upset about the c section for the simple fact that I wished I was able to get up and walk around with my baby after he was born.
Man, I hope you can go through with you wanting to go natural. It's honestly so hard, that's what I wanted to do, so bad! But I was in so much pain it was raising my heart rate too high , so i decided to the pain med the out thru ur iv, it makes you kind of loopy, then that helped with pain for about 30/40 minutes . Then I got the epidural , I didn't even feel it, I was so loopy anyways, then after that within less of a hour I went from 4 to 10, and ready to push. Good luck with everything ☺️
I was induced unexpectedly with my first it was a little painful for me mostly because my contractions were in my back so I got the epidural and didnt regret it considering I was 35 weeks with no dialiation but if your going drug free more power to you I wish you the best of luck
You're welcome 😊 It's definitely nice knowing when everything's happening. The nurses are constantly checking in on you and making sure everything goes smooth.
@lmullan33, @twinmama_navywife @scc2413 thank you guys! I think I'm just nervous about everything but I do like knowing when the baby is coming an having time to get ready that helps a lot an takes away some stress.
I was induced last month. I was nervous but it was all fine. And in retrospect it was nice having time to prepare and pack and get to the hospital relaxed.
